Refund Policy
Policy Overview
This Refund Policy delineates the standards under which clients of our legal services may submit and be evaluated for refund requests. The policy is crafted to ensure fairness, transparency, and adherence to the highest standards of the legal profession.
Eligibility for Refunds
-
Clients may request a refund for legal services within thirty (30) days of the initial payment date, subject to the provisions stipulated in the client engagement agreement.
-
Refunds will only be considered for services that have not commenced or been fulfilled. If substantive legal work has begun—such as consultations, document preparation, or filings—a full refund may not be available.
-
All refund requests must be supported by valid proof of payment and a comprehensive written explanation of the grounds for the request.
-
Services explicitly designated as non-refundable, including but not limited to individualized legal opinions or matters where the final work product has been delivered, are not eligible for refunds.
Procedure for Requesting a Refund
-
Submit a formal, written refund request to our office at Tom@TullyLawOfficePC.com or by postal mail to the address indicated in your engagement correspondence.
-
Please include your full name and contact information and a detailed description of the legal services in question, and the rationale for your request.
-
All refund requests will be reviewed by firm management and compliance personnel to ensure impartial evaluation.
-
You will receive a written response outlining the decision regarding your request and, if approved, the subsequent steps for processing your refund.
Refund Processing
-
Upon approval, refunds will be remitted to the original method of payment within ten (10) business days, unless otherwise specified in writing.
-
Should you experience any delays or require assistance with refund processing, please contact our office directly.
Exceptions and Limitations
-
Fees for services already rendered, disbursements to third parties, court filing fees, and retainers for work commenced are non-refundable.
-
Refunds are not available in circumstances involving misuse, client-initiated service termination after substantial progress, or as specified in the client engagement agreement.
